RUF Automobiles has built a long standing relationship with Porsche dating back over 40 years.
The CTR2 Sport is RUF manufactured car (RUF VIN) built on a 993 Turbo "body in white" acquired from Porsche and then assembled from the shell up at the RUF factory in Germany. Only 16 CTR2 Sport's were built worldwide and only an estimated 6 or 7 reside in the U.S.
This particular CTR2 Sport was finished in “Yellowbird” Yellow over Black leather interior. The 589hp 3.8Liter Twin Turbocharged Flat 6 delivers breathtaking performance and will simply pin you back in the seat. A unique feature about this car is the RUF EKS transmission which eliminates the need for a clutch pedal. Shift pattern remains the same and sensors built within the linkage engage and disengage the clutch during shifts. A RUF Integrated Rollcage, RUF Adjustable Torque Bias, and a RUF Adjustable Boost are just a few of the "unique" RUF features. This track version of the CTR2 Sport has a more elaborate Integrated Rollcage and does not have airbags. In addition, it has a remote battery disconnect and a switch to disable the ABS.
