Here is a car you seldom see! 1947 Desoto Suburban just in on trade from long term family ownership! The previous owner was just the second owner of this car! The engine runs very smoothly and the car drives like it should. DeSoto Suburbans came with Fluid Drive, a 4 speed (semi)automatic, which has a clutch and lacks a shift dial, as standard equipment, not a manual. You drive the car as a 2 speed automatic
The wood trim inside is in very good condition as are the seats. It appears to have had one repaint of its original colors years ago. The paint does show its age in spots, but yet as you can see overall it still looks good! The original owner was a mail carrier, so you can see on the passenger side especially that there are some dings in some of the trim (see pics).
