1952 Chevrolet Suburban Recent Body-Off Restoration! The 1st SUV!

Shift Bespoke Automotive is proud to offer this Recent Body-Off Restoration! Merlot Red over Red and tan interior. The popularity of today’s sports-utility vehicles has its distant roots in 1935 when Chevrolet and GMC created the category with the Suburban, now the longest-running model in the automotive industry. The postwar redesign of GM’s trucks included the Suburban, resulting in handsome utility vehicles like this 1952 2-door wagon, whose body-off restoration was completed in 2012. Advertised by GM as an ideal unit for transporting people and commodities, this Suburban Carryall came equipped with an end-gate (clamshell) that could be lowered to carry luggage, tools or supplies or the two rear seats could be removed to haul large loads. For your convenience we took over a 150 photos in natural sunlight! Our camera lense has a small smudge inside the camera that needs to be cleaned, it shows a small cloudy blemish on every image. It IS NOT a flaw on the car. Please feel free to contact us at 949-891-Cars (2277) FOR QUESTIONS, SCHEDULE TEST DRIVES OR INSPECTIONS. Inspections are welcome and encouraged if you have any reservations. Keep in mind we ship cars worldwide - sight unseen!

For your convenience we took over a 150 photos, these photo are taken in natural sunlight. We don't have a mock studio or photoshop/edit any of our photos.

Highly detailed out with the vintage steering column flashlight.

All of the metal dash and door panel are freshly painted to follow the theme. It is set up with a three-person bench seat in front, with a 3/4 bench in the middle and full width bench in the rear. Being a two-door vehicle, the passenger third of the front bench is hinged for rear access. The interior is in excellent condition, with New seating surfaces and correct rubber flooring
