1957 Ford Thunderbird Fun, Fun, Fun till her Daddy takes the T-Bird away!!
Shift Bespoke Automotive offers this Beautiful example - 1957 Ford Thunderbird in Colonial white over white interior. The car has been garage kept. This example was restored probably sometime in the early 90's and is an above average Driver quality car. Probably a solid #3 car. This would be a great parade, car show or weekend cruiser investment. This car just made a 3 hour trip from our clients house in Palm Springs to our Showroom with no issues so it is definitely ready to cruise and enjoy! 1957 was the last year of the first-generation "baby birds" and by far the most sought-after. Big fins, horizontal exhaust outlets through the rear bumper, an updated dash with the round speedometer. Thunderbird's are a lovely to cruise with the top down and get compliments wherever you go.

THE BODY AND TRIM
Colonial White paint is very nice look on these birds and shows well! The white top also looks good, but does have some minor imperfections, not really an issue considering this car will be driven 99.9% of the time with the top off. The chrome bumpers, trim and wheel covers are all in excellent shape and really shine. This T-Bird is nicely detailed all around, even in the engine compartment. Nice wide white wall tires. There are a few small chips on the paint which are in the pictures.
THE INTERIOR
The white interior shows well! The black carpet is a nice touch that will not show any stains.The power windows work. Original AM town and country radio is in place, however not working. Nice T-Bird rubber floor mats. The factory clock does work. The tachometer and gauges work well. The car does have some wear, as expected on a older restored driver car.
THE Engine and Suspension
This 57 Thunderbird is Powered by the Legendary 312 Thunderbird V8 motor and automatic transmission. The combination run and shift smooth. Under the hood aluminum Thunderbird finned Valve covers, Chrome Breather look excellent.We just had the car sorted with a new battery, rebuilt carburetor, new plugs, distributor cap/rotor, points, condenser, pinion seal, all shock absorbers, sway link kit. Brakes stop the car easily and smoothly. The power steering is easy to turn. The Dual exhaust sounds awesome, alignment tracks straight.
THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE â¨
There is just something about driving a T-Bird down the road! These cars are one of the all time great 50's classic cars! This car is no different and is a joy to drive! She drives excellent and the exhaust on the car sounds awesome. The amount of looks, thumbs up, waves and people talking to you is an absolute pleasure. Not to mention that feeling you get from driving a nice car - just makes you feel GREAT!
