This one year only body style 1963 Split Window Vette just celebrated its 50th anniversary. This stunning example stays true to the 63’s stunning original lines but gracefully combines this iconic car’s original beauty with modern technology. This meticulous frame off resto mod by Torque Customs took over a year and was completed and delivered to Los Angeles, California in 2011. THE EXTERIOR, BODY AND TRIM
Awesome! Deep wet Black Paint - is there anything better? This silky smooth black paint has no dents or dings. all of the oem chrome was refinished and chromed. Custom widened C3 wheels are clean and look right at home on this head turner. Side pipes look awesome and are in excellent condition. Glass and rubber trim is as if new.
THE INTERIOR
Black on black theme continues. New Oem interior with a factory twist. Oem looking door panels with full custom fabricated armrest/door pull. Full custom fabricated center console with ipod docking station and back up monitor. Full custom fabricated rear area with corvette logos to cover stereo components.
THE ENGINE/SUSPENSION
The drive train consists of a 2010 Ram Jet fuel Injected 350 with a 700R4 Automatic transmission. The gears are set in motion with a Lokar digital shifter set on a completely one off custom console. The suspension system includes the latest Max Performance suspension system, front wheel disk brakes, Rack and Pinion power steering and vintage Corvette rims custom worked to give the car an aggressive look with the traction footprint the car needed.
THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Talk about turning heads! Young and old everyone has to look at her, she demands attention and looks stunning! Something about a Bowtie Muscle car- Good old Detroit Muscle! This Corvette , looks, runs and drives _________ Unbelievable!!! Turn the key on, Turn up the Radio and feel the power! The transmission shifts perfectly and the DISC brakes stop on a dime, the pedal feel has great response!. The suspension is as it should be. The pictures are excellent, but the driving experience is something special.
