This beautiful 1971 280SL in 670H light ivory was originally delivered to a dealer in Nevada and then spent a short time on the West coast in Washington State. Both front fenders and hood are original and the overall condition of the car is quite good. Notches and welds are very clearly defined. The gaps are quite even and consistent and the first paint can be seen in the door jams. The undercarriage is very solid and shows virtually no signs of rust. The interior is in good condition with beige seats and correct replaced factory carpet. The engine runs very well and overall the car performs smoothly and as expected from a solid, well maintained automobile. A nice bonus is the factory Frigidking air conditioning and factory rear window defroster. The Paint is a driver quality level and it could be the perfect candidate for a full concours level paint job if you wish. The odometer shows 52,228 miles and it is within reason to believe that it could be actual.
