Approximately 12K miles ago the engine was rebuilt with new pistons and cylinders, all new case studs, 930 chain rail, intake and exhaust valves ignition wire set and much more. At the same time the brake rotors were replaced along with all new shocks. In excess of $8,800 were spent in that work alone. There are extensive records of endless repairs which were done within the last 20K miles. This one was really taken car of the right way and the documentation supports that.  The 1987 911 Carerra is one of the most desirable years built. This very honest, rust free example has been thoroughly maintained and kept in excellent condition. There is a thick file full of service records to support its ongoing maintenance and all factory books along with spare original keys will go with it. The cars wonderful performance in all categories shows the kind of attention this Porsche has been given over the years. All panel gaps are consistent and symmetrical as they should be and the cars excellent undercarriage shows it has certainly not been abused. The dash, seats, door panels and carpet are all in great condition and the paint is shiny and quite respectable.
